BBC now doubts al Qaeda’s 9/11 culpability

Has Al Jazeera already taken over the Beeb

This is an extract from the BBC’s online report on Ayman al Zawahiri’s latest pronouncements.

The tape was aired two days before the third anniversary of the 11 September attacks on the US, which were blamed on al-Qaeda. (emphasis mine) [BBC]

The BBC is probably looking for a signed confession from Osama bin Laden before it can unequivocally hold al Qaeda responsible for the 9/11 attacks.

What a shame !

  1. The BBC I suspect is run by craven, dhimmi antisemites. What advantage they gain by shamelessly pandering to muslim ‘sensibilities’ is beyond me. Ironically, muslims continue to find fault (read islamophobia) with the BBC (lumped together with the CNN) whom they accuse of nursing some vague anti-muslim conspiracy…..tu,tut.

I suggest mailing the BBC enmasse with a protest petition (yeah, as if that’ll work) and finally, boycotting the damned source as corrupted, biased and unreliable, which I now trust, it is.

  2. I don’t understand Nitin.

The 9/11 attacks were blamed on the Al Qaeda, weren’t they? There is nothing in the report that I can see that implies otherwise.

  3. Prashant,

Would it hurt or be inaccurate to say “The tape was aired two days before the third anniversary of the 11 September attacks on the US, which were carried out by al-Qaeda.”

    Why the doubt?
