Weekday Squib: Burmees national holding protest

A comedy of errors (and lazy editing)

The website of a major Indian newspaper has a curious lag between the featured photograph and the caption—something to do with caching, refreshing or suchlike. The resulting disconnect between photo and caption is usually funny. Like in this case.

    It’s an understood fact among most print media—wetting their diapers into the world of web—that the picture dept is more often than not out of phase with the story dept., but on Indian Express? That’s a wow!
