  1. AFAIK Mutiny is mostly a Kerala Chritian mouth piece.. Just to pretend that they are broad minded they cover other topics..

However, blog going into print is a good development..

  2. Raghu,

Well, there’s nothing wrong in a Kerala Christian mouth piece going into print. As for pretensions of broadmindedness, well, we are all entitled to our own ๐Ÿ™‚

  3. Cool.. We agree on everything ๐Ÿ™‚
    1) I said that the blog going to print is a good which Nitin too agrees on
    2) I said Mutiny is a KC mouth piece.. Nitin just confirmed it ๐Ÿ™‚

  4. Raghu,

What cleverness! I haven’t encountered such clever argumentation techniques since 7th standard. Most of us outgrew them, which is tragic, because they are so much fun.

  5. I thought the simley’s purpose is to negate any seriousness..

Looks like you look at things differently.. ๐Ÿ™‚

  6. This has got to be a sick joke. Right? I wonder if we should consider a legal options since their name and concept was ripped off of us.

  7. Sriram,

Hey, I frequently link to and refer people to The Hindu — it is not exactly INI type ๐Ÿ™‚ I merely said it promises to be an excellent magazine, not that I endorse every article in it. I just looked at the link you cited…there’s a disclaimer down there that says that they don’t necessarily endorse the views expressed by the author.

More generally, I think the fact that there is media & intellectual entrepreneurship of this nature is to be welcomed. The more there is to debate (and fisk) the better it is.

  8. Abhi,
Don’t flatter yourself. In case you haven’t noticed, Mutiny is an Indian blog/mag, and not a “South Asian” ABD blog.

  9. C’mon Nitin, when you link to the Hindu, you attach your comments to the linked item. Sometimes approving, sometimes dissenting. This one is different from linking to Hindu or Economist.

  10. @Nitin, Thank you.

@Raghu, send me your address and I will send you free copy every month. I hope reading us more often might change your opinion about us.

@Abhi, yes you are right, please due sue. You invented blogging, the Internet, group blogging, Mutiny cycles, Mutiny hotel and even the Mutiny rockband in Bangalore. For history, check this out (http://jacobjoseph.com/2008/03/01/houston-you-have-a-problem/)

    @Trilog, Thank you.

  11. @Chako, Thanks for the offer.. I welcome your decision to go print and like a true heathen of India respect your freedom of speech..

@Abhi, first cover your back since someone from Andhra Pradesh (http://www.persecution.in/node/496) may sue both of you for hurting their religious sentiments – some folks in that part of the world even today believe that 1857 was a war by heathens and muslim bigots on the missionaries ๐Ÿ™‚

  12. A couple of comments that were held up for moderation have been deleted. Please keep the discussion civil.

  13. Chacko,
You may not be aware that Abhi is a South Asian – American, thus more creative, smarter, and better looking than an ordinary Indian any day of the week, except Monday morning.

  14. Chacko,
By posting the link above, which pretty much disproves Mr.Tripathi’s claim and then some, you have forever banned yourself from ever commenting on the South Asian blog, Sepia Mutiny.
    Hope you are happy now.

  15. Trilok, Mr Tripathi can ban me from SepiaMutiny, AmericanGujaratis.com, friendsofmodi.org or any of the millions of site he runs and I have no interest in ever visiting. I really don’t care.
